Ripon, Calif, Adding CNG Station

14 April 2005

Manteca Bulletin. The City of Ripon, California, is deepening its commitment to CNG with plans for a new  refueling station for the municipal fleet. City vehicles burning CNG currently use a temporary fueling station located behind City Hall.

Currently, CNG powers three Ripon refuse trucks and two Public Works pickup trucks. The police department recently added two Honda Civic GX CNG sedans, and may add two new CNG cruisers in the future.

Residents will also have access to the new CNG station.
