Correction: EPA Fuel Economy Study

3 August 2005

In the post EPA: 2005 Fuel Economy is Flat at 21 MPG, I incorrectly identified “ton-mpg” as miles per gallon per ton. Rather, it is the weight (in tons) times the fuel economy.

The post is corrected.

Thanks to Bob Heavenrich at the EPA for noting the blooper.
