Air Force Concludes Cold Weather GTL Testing

18 February 2007

The US Air Force has wrapped up its current testing of synthetic gas-to-liquids (GTL) fuel. The cold-weather ground testing of a 50-50 GTL-JP8 blend in a B52 was the last step in a testing and certification process. (Earlier post.)

With the testing concluded, the cold-weather data will be analyzed along with the data from Edwards AFB, and a complete test report is scheduled to be issued in June.
