New Indian Company to Target Entry-Level Market With Diesels

The Telegraph. The former president of Hyundai Motors India, B.V.R. Subbu, has co-founded a new auto company—MLR Motors Ltd.—that is planning to introduce a low-cost, entry-level diesel car in 2009.
Two versions of the car are planned with engine displacements of 900 cc and 1,500 cc; gasoline and CNG versions of the cars will follow.
