Sasol-Chevron Studying GTL Project in Australia

The Sasol Chevron joint venture is exploring the possibility of a Gas-to-Liquids plant for the Wheatstone field in Western Australia.

“Chevron will be leading the upstream field development while Sasol Chevron would be responsible for the downstream element,” Chevron’s spokesperson Scott Walker said.

Sasol and Chevron are involved in the Oryx GTL project in Qatar that has just begun producing commercial GTL products. (Earlier post.)
