Valence Technology Gets New CEO

Valence Technology, the provider of Saphion large-format lithium-ion phosphate rechargeable batteries, has appointed Robert Kanode as chief executive officer and president. Kanode succeeds Dr. James Akridge.

Kanode also will assume Akridge’s position on Valence Technology's board of directors. Kanode brings more than 12 years of experience in the battery industry to Valence.
