Tata Motors to Supply 500 CNG Buses to Delhi

13 April 2007

Tata Motors has won a contract from the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) for 500 low-floor non-AC CNG-fueled buses.

The order came as a result of a global tender floated by DTC. This is the single largest order for fully-built, low-floor buses received by Tata Motors to date. Tata Motors was the first in India to launch modern, low-floor and semi low-floor buses in 2005.
