Dominican Republic Opens First CNG Plant

Dominican Today. The Dominican Republic’s first natural gas compression and distribution plant opened, with plans to supply 143,000 vehicles with that fuel in the next 3 years.
The country is encouraging vehicles to convert to CNG. Installing the conversion system will cost US$700 per vehicle. There will be 140 stations to sell the fuel in the entire national territory.
