National Car Rental in UK Adds Prius

National Car Rental in the UK will now offer the Prius as a rental option.
The new fleet of vehicles will initially be made available to National’s corporate customers in and around the London area, providing a solution for those that need to travel into the congestion zone.

This may provide a chance for more people to drive the car there. However, people that drive rental cars may not all be from London. The sales of Prius in London have been a very small fraction of the sales in L.A., for example.
Considering the price of gas, the low sales figures surprise me. But you could look at the amount of miles driven in L.A. compared to London and come up with a reason for this as well.
