O2Diesel Receives Approvals for Ethanol-Diesel Blend in France
16 July 2007
O2Diesel Corporation has received the regulatory approvals necessary to start delivering its proprietary diesel ethanol blended fuel, O2Diesel, in the French market.
The approvals, from DRIRE and DIREM, the regulatory bodies responsible for the Environment and Fuel specifications and applications, pave the way for O2Diesel to move forward into the next stage of its European market development strategy by commencing deliveries to a number of targeted fleets in France.
In 2005, O2Diesel and Abengoa Bioenergy R&D entered into a five-year agreement to jointly develop the European market for O2Diesel’s ethanol diesel fuel blend technology. Abengoa Bioenergy also became O2Diesel’s largest shareholder. (Earlier post.)
