Among the concept cars Subaru will introduce at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show is the G4e—a 5-passenger, battery-electric vehicle.

The lithium-ion battery pack is stowed underneath the floor of the triangle-shaped vehicle. Fuji Heavy Industries, the maker of Subarus, expects the G4e to have a single-charge range of 200 km (124 miles).

Subaru is currently developing the R1e battery-electric vehicle with planned commercialization for 2010. (Earlier post.)

Finally, it's electric & beautiful & not a supercar (like Tesla...).

Good spot. I think they are.

Nice design! It looks quick.

This looks better than the R1e. The shape is better, the front is waaaayyyy better, though the grill/headlights could use a little tweak (bigger headlight housings maybe). Dig the raised rear view mirrors.

I'd love to know all of the regular car specs about it. Hope it's quick.

Time to buy a Subaru dealership.
