BASF Increases Price for AdBlue

BASF has increased its sales price for AdBlue by €45 (US$70) per 1,000 liters (264 gallons US).
AdBlue is a highly purified 32.5% solution of urea that is used in modern diesel trucks to reduce nitrogen oxides by up to 80% in combination with SCR catalysts.
BASF said it raised the price to assure high product quality and supply reliability in the context of tight raw material markets.

This number is worthless. Was the old price like 1 USD/m^3 (then it's an increase 45-fold), or like 1000 USD/m^3 (then this is peanuts)...
Interesting to see the scavengers of "ultra-high tech clean combustion" closing in on the helpless pray...
