BorgWarner to Showcase eGearDrive at 2008 EDTA Conference & Exposition

BorgWarner will showcase its eGearDrive systems at the 2008 Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA) Conference & Exposition, 2-4 December at the Washington D.C. Convention Center.

eGearDrive systems provide primary drive for front-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive electric vehicles and series-type hybrid electric vehicles, as well as launch assist, energy recovery, and AWD performance for the secondary-driven axle on any type of vehicle.
BorgWarner’s eGearDrive system is featured on the Tesla Roadster electric vehicle.
BorgWarner’s eGearDrive systems deliver high torque capacity, high efficiency, and low noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) in a compact package, including optional electronic disconnect and park systems, and available electronic limited-slip differential control or full torque vectoring.

It is good to see these industry supply co's delivering what the industry and hopefully some small conversion builders would like! looks good.
