Renault-Nissan EV Partnerships with Guangdong Province, China and City of Saitama, Japan

The Renault-Nissan Alliance (the Alliance) and the Development & Reform Commission of GuangDong Province China (the DRC of GuangDong Province) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote electric mobility in GuangDong Province.
The DRC of GuangDong Province is the second local government in China to sign an MoU with the Alliance after the Wuhan Municipal government.
Separately, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and the City of Saitama, Japan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to jointly embark on the E-KIZUNA Project, aimed at creating a sustainable low-carbon society.
The zero-emission partnership will initiate a joint-study to implement all the necessary conditions for the mass introduction of electric vehicles, primarily focused on:
- Charging infrastructure
- Creating vehicle demand
- Implementing community-based educational programs
