Delphi breaks ground for diesel fuel injection facility in China
11 October 2012
Delphi Automotive held a groundbreaking ceremony in Yantai, Shandong Province, for a new diesel fuel injection manufacturing facility. Delphi is investing approximately $100 million (CNY 643 million) to construct and equip the facility.
The Yantai operation will produce high-precision diesel fuel injection systems components. The new manufacturing facility, expected to start production in late 2013, will be supported by an existing Delphi operation in Suzhou that will supply engine control modules.
Delphi has a longstanding relationship with local representatives of the Yantai municipality and its Fushan district. The company currently employs 2,800 people in the Yantai municipality and Fushan district and expects to hire an additional 500 employees at the new facility.
The Yantai government will continue to provide strong support to Delphi in its effort to localize diesel technology investment in the Chinese market.

The low birth rates in China due to the one-child policy also led to relatively few young adults and relatively many older persons at an earlier state of development than happened in the West and in other developing countries. China’s young adult population is falling rapidly. buy from china
