The new 2015 Audi Q3 compact SUV will arrive in the US in the Fall of 2014, joining the Q5 and Q7. The Q3 will make its US debut at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit next week; Audi originally unveiled the Q3 in April 2011. (Earlier post.)
The Audi Q3 will initially be powered by a 200 hp (149 kW) 2.0-liter TFSI gasoline engine mated with a six-speed Tiptronic transmission. The engine will deliver 207 lb-ft (281 N·m) of torque.
Front wheel drive is standard, Audi quattro permanent all-wheel drive is available. The optional Audi drive select system will allow drivers to adjust handling and response at the touch of a button. There are three drive select modes: Comfort, Dynamic, and Auto.
The factory-fitted, in-vehicle Wi-Fi system enables the Audi connect system to deliver connectivity to up to eight wireless devices for passengers. The on-board Audi MMI navigation plus system is enhanced with Google Earth maps. Audi connect also features real-time localized weather, news and live fuel prices.
