The Hillsborough, Fl,  Area Regional Transit Authority (HART) is adding three diesel-hybrid buses powered by the GM-Allison hybrid drivetrain and manufactured by Gillig to its mass transit fleet.

The hybrid system used by these buses is the basis for the two-mode concept hybrids announced by GM today and for the partnership with DaimlerChrysler.
