SRP, the power and water provider to the metropolitan Phoenix, Arizona area, is adding five Ford Escape Hybrids and a micro-hybrid 2005 Chevrolet Silverado truck to its fleet.

The new hybrids are the first in the SRP fleet and will in operation by mid-March. Currently, SRP has a combined total of 136 CNG and LPG vehicles, representing 6% of its 2,200-vehicle fleet.
