Note from GCC: Design Change and Some Requests
19 June 2005
As you can see (again, I hope), I’ve changed the design of the site. A couple of requests:
- If the formatting looks a bit off to you, please hit CTRL F5 while in your browser.
- There are new International categories. I still need to go back and re-tag the 1,500+ posts to get them in the right buckets, but that will take a few days. Have patience please.
- If you find any broken links (likely candidate for this: the Topics page), please let me know, and I’ll fix them as soon as I can.
- The Resources page is only partly populated. It will continue to grow. The Events page will be up relatively soon. Email suggestions for both to me, please.
As always, please send me your comments. Thank you for reading and contributing!
New site layout looks good, Mike!

Great stuff! The font problems I was encountering in the first roll-out have been fixed. Thanks!

The site looks very clean. One suggestion I have is to show the number of comments on the homepage. Sometimes it helps me decide if I want to click on the article.

Agreed. I like to swing by the site every few days (instead of reading on my RSS feed) to look for comments -- so seeing the number of comments on the main page would be a big help.

OK, good point on the front page comments...I’ll put those in today...
Thanks!
