China to Add 25,000 km of Oil and Gas Pipelines by 2010
23 February 2007
China plans to build another 25,000 kilometers of oil and gas pipelines by 2010 to support economic development, according to the China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau (CPPLB). Current pipelines in China total 40,000 kilometers.
http://media.ford.com/The CPPLB builds more than 80% of China’s oil and gas pipelines and more than 75% of the oil storage tanks.
This equates to just over 15,000 miles of pipelines....but the US has 244,620 km (151,999 miles) for petroleum products and 548,665 km (340,924 miles) for natural gas (https://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/print/us.html), so it's really not so bad, relatively speaking.

human positive feedback loop,
chinese techies that can't even solve an ODE much less understand conservation of mass and energy also can't admit that the beginning of the end is done with and that the solution is to reduce 5, 10 times everywhere.
Where's the tech for that ?
