Two Chinese Auto Companies Selected for China’s Green Procurement List

People’s Daily. For the first time, China has certified two Chinese automobile companies for the China Environmental Labeling procurement list.
The government certified ten automobile companies in total, two of which are Chinese: Chery and Zhonghua Car. This is the second batch of car brands to be put on the government’s green car procurement list. It is also the first time a Chinese car brand has made the list, the Environment Development Center under the State Environment Protection Administration of China announced on Wednesday.
The ten companies added to the list are Shanghai Volkswagen, Shanghai GM, Guangzhou Honda, Dongyue Automobile Co. Ltd. under Shanghai GM, Shenyang Beisheng Automobile Co. Ltd. under Shanghai GM, Chery, and Guangzhou Toyota, Changan Ford Mazda Automobile Corporation Ltd., Shenyang Huachen Jinbei Co. Ltd., and Tianjin Faw Toyota Motor Co. Ltd.
