Biofuels Industries Form Global Renewable Fuels Alliance

Companies and organizations from 29 countries representing more than 60% of global biofuels production have formed the Global Renewable Fuels Alliance (GRFA).

The GRFA has a dual mission: to promote the expanded use of renewable fuels throughout the world through the advocacy of sound public policy and responsible research and, through the development of new technology and best practices, to produce renewable fuels with the smallest possible ecological footprint.

Announcing the GRFA at the National Ethanol Conference in San Antonio, Spokesperson Bliss Baker said that the Alliance was calling on the World Bank to make investments in developing countries’ biofuels infrastructure a top priority.

Seems like a sound idea. Especially to counter absurd studies like the Mellon Life Cycle emissions models. These models, based on failed CO2 theory, serve only to set back renewable fuels progress.
