Alternative Fuel Systems Providing Natural Gas Engine Controllers to Mahindra and Mahindra

Canada-based Alternative Fuel Systems (AFS) is providing that it is providing natural gas engine controllers to Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. in India for use in the new compressed natural gas Maxx maxi Truck, now in production.
AFS has been supplying controllers for Mahindra Bolero CNG pick-ups over the last year.

Mahindra says that it is the market leader in the 2 to 3 ton G.V.W. pick-up category with a market share of 85% for fiscal year 2009. Perry said that AFS has also seen that government agencies in India are vigorously supporting the change from diesel vehicles to natural gas fuelled vehicles in order to combat pollution.
