High Gear Media and Tesla Motors Announce Automotive Writing Contest; Win a Tour & Road Test of the 2010 Tesla Roadster Sport

High Gear Media, the publisher of 75 targeted consumer automotive websites, and Tesla Motors are launching an automotive writing contest to win a tour and test drive of the 2010 Tesla Roadster Sport in California.
The contest is open to anyone who uses one of High Gear Media’s automotive websites. Users can sign in and submit their own writing to be published on the High Gear Media network and thereby enter for a chance to win. High Gear editors will pick the winner based on the quality of content submitted. The winner’s Tesla tour experience will include:
Airfare to and accommodations in the San Francisco Bay Area the week of 18 January 2010.
An exclusive tour of Tesla’s powertrain installation facility in Menlo Park, Calif., and a one-on-one interview with Tesla Chief Designer Franz von Holzhausen.
An afternoon to test-drive the 2010 Tesla Roadster Sport. The winner will also be hired by High Gear Media to write an article about the experience to be published on the company’s web sites.
To enter, contestants must submit their own articles using High Gear Media’s open content platform at http://www.highgearmedia.com/iwanttowrite. High Gear Media editors review all submissions for publication and will choose the best overall writing submitted as the winner.
