DOE Vehicle Technologies Program presents an Electric Vehicle Quarterly Discussion webinar

On Wednesday, 15 December 2010, the US Department of Energy’s Clean Cities Program will host a webinar focusing on community deployment of electric vehicles. This Webinar will provide an opportunity for stakeholders, industry representatives, and Program staff to discuss partnership opportunities and technological challenges related to electric vehicle infrastructure.

The speaker will be Jim Francfort, from Idaho National Laboratory; the webinar runs from 1:00-3:00 p.m. EDT.

The webinar will focus on differences in electric vehicle charging levels, charging options, characteristics of different technologies, and partnerships with electric utilities. Contact: Please contact Sandra Loi.

A problem created where there is none. Ordinary plugs have been available in very cold city parking lots for decades. Parking fees or coin slots can easily recover the energy costs if necessary. Retail stores recover energy costs with a single purchase of more than one dollar or less. ..HG..
