Fisker Automotive will begin selling its extended range electric luxury cars in Montreal, Québec. Fisker of Montreal, the first Fisker retailer in Québec and the fourth in Canada, was formed by local businessmen Gad Bitton, president of Holand Automotive Group, and Norman Hébert, president and CEO of Groupe Park Avenue. Together these retailer groups handle 17 brands in multiple locations across Montreal, including Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, BMW, Lexus, and now, Fisker.
Fisker of Montreal brings to 79 the number of independent Fisker retail locations in the US, Canada and Europe; 47 in North America alone. Fisker also has retailers in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver and will soon have retail representation in China and the Middle East.
As the Karma is classified as a plug-in hybrid by Québec’s Drive Electric Program, buyers are eligible for an $8,000 rebate toward the purchase price. The program also provides up to $1,000 more toward the purchase of Fisker’s available 240V Convenience Charger, which cuts charge times in half.
The Karma also qualifies for the Electric Vehicle license plate in Quebec, which allows Karma drivers to use parking spaces reserved for electric vehicles equipped with charging stations.
