California Energy Commission holding two hydrogen workshops on infrastructure and fueling

In August, the California Energy Commission (CEC) will hold two public workshops related to the use of hydrogen as a transportation fuel: one on infrastructure, the other on measurement and dispensing.

On 12 August, CEC staff will host a public workshop on California’s hydrogen fuel infrastructure. This workshop has two major objectives: 1) to present the aggregated results of a “Hydrogen Fuel Infrastructure Survey” performed earlier and 2) to present the survey topics for stakeholder discussion in a workshop format.

On 27 August, CEC staff will host a workshop on hydrogen gas metrology, standards, and dispensing. The purpose of this workshop will be to discuss the regulations for the commercial measurement of gaseous hydrogen used as a vehicle fuel in refueling applications.
