FedEx equips Brazilian subsidiary with Renault Kangoo Z.E. EVs

FedEx has acquired six Renault Kangoo Z.E. electric vehicles for its Brazilian subsidiary. The Kangoo Z.E.s will take to the streets of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro in January 2014, making daily journeys and final-kilometer deliveries.

Renault, the European leader in electric vehicles with a near 50% share of the market (excluding Twizy) and the world leader with Nissan through the Alliance, already markets its full-electric range in Brazil, notably through the CPFL Energia’s Electric Mobility Program and the commercialization of 42 Renault electric models.
