Tesla Model S fleet passes 1-billion mile mark

Tesla Motors announced that, since the launch of the Model S in 2012, the cumulative vehicle fleet worldwide has driven more than 1 billion miles with just under 75,000 Model S units now on the roads.
Tesla’s charging network in North America, Europe and Asia now consists of 445 Supercharger stations and thousands of Destination Charging locations.
Tesla will mark this fleet milestone with the launch of the Next Billion Miles Tour which will travel around North America, Europe and Asia.
