Millbrook investing $2.9M in its powertrain test facilities

Millbrook, the UK vehicle test, validation and engineering service provider, is investing £1.83 million (US$2.9 million) in its powertrain test facilities at its independent UK proving ground.

The new investment will enable Millbrook to offer full emissions development capabilities, in particular cold start characterization to support engine calibration from -40 ˚C and advanced road load simulation modeling. It also includes all new equipment for advanced direct injection gasoline and diesel development.

This major investment will see test bed software upgraded, which can run the most complex tests with precision and quality, making all operations effective and efficient, but above all, reliable.

Millbrook has recently been awarded a major contract with a large OEM, who we have been working with for many years, and we have a number of other key customers that are keen to utilise our independent and impartial knowledge and expertise. This latest investment enables us to meet the requirements of our customers and the growing demands for modern engine test and development.
