Toyota to focus on hybrids, Safety Sense at IAA

Toyota will focus on two main themes at the upcoming IAA motor show in Frankfurt: hybrids and the continuation of the roll-out and democratization of the Toyota Safety Sense active safety technology. On the hybrid side, Toyota will showcase the new Prius. Although Toyota is unveiling the new model on 8 Sep, the hybrid’s appearance at Frankfurt will mark its motor show World-Premiere.

The show will also mark the European Premiere of the new RAV4 Hybrid, and the global debut of the second TOYOTA C-HR Concept hybrid crossover.

As Toyota continues the roll-out of Toyota Safety Sense across its range, the second iteration of the system premieres at Frankfurt, with Pedestrian Recognition and Adaptive Cruise Control being added to system’s existing features, which include Pre-Collision System, Lane-Departure Alert, Road Sign Assist and Automatic High Beam.
