Renault Twizy 40 arrives in Canada

Twizy, Renault’s all-electric quadricyle, has been certified by Transport Canada, and is now set for release on the Canadian market.

The Canadian Renault Twizy (Twizy 40) is fitted with a type-1 charging cable and side reflectors. With speed capped at 40 km/h (25 mph), it comes under the Canadian category of low-speed vehicles (four-wheel electric vehicles with top speed from 32 to 40 km/h).

Renault’s local partner, AZRA Canada, will be selling Twizy 40 from summer 2016.

Not ideal for our long cold winters and long distances?

May be OK in parts of south Vancouver Island & Niagara Falls peninsula or as a summer time toy for children?

Full doors are available. I would expect them to be installed by default in CAN since you don't have the same weight restrictions that Europe has.
