08 September 2016
Jaguar, which last December announced its return to motorsport with a Formula E team (earlier post), unveiled its first all-electric Jaguar Racing car, the I-TYPE 1, in full race livery, with Panasonic as title partner.
Panasonic Jaguar Racing set to make its debut in Hong Kong in the opening race of the third FIA Formula E season on Sunday 9 October 2016 following a successful test program.
The Panasonic Jaguar Racing team successfully completed 21 days of testing, up to and including the last Formula E public test, which finished at Donington Park Circuit.
Lear Corporation is joining the team as an Official Team Partner.
The driver line-up mixes youth and experience of Adam Carroll, Mitch Evans and reserve driver Ho-Pin Tung to spearhead Jaguar’s Formula E campaign.
