Codha Wirelss and Autotalks partnering on connected vehicles
07 October 2016
Autotalks, supplier of automotive-grade V2X communication processors and RF transceivers, and Cohda Wireless, provider of V2X - Vehicle-to-Vehicle, Vehicle-to-Infrastructure, and CAV - Connected Autonomous Vehicles software, announced a partnership at ITS World Congress 2016 in Melbourne.
At the event, Cohda Wireless will demonstrate the V2X reference system consisting of the Autotalks PANGAEA platform and Cohda Wireless’ V2X software. The demo showcases interoperability between the Cohda MK5 platform and the Autotalks PANGAEA platform on a variety of safety applications. An in-car live demonstration is also available for experience at Albert Park.
Cohda Wireless CEO Paul Gray said the Cohda Wireless/Autotalks demonstration shows benefits of interoperability for connected vehicle technology.
Our V2X communication chipset is architected for CAV featuring an ultra-low-latency V2X Hardware Security Module (eHSM), and line-rate verification for the highest security performance. Together with Cohda’s CAV technology, we believe we can dramatically improve road safety, decrease car accidents and improve mobility.
