California ARB releases unofficial draft of proposal to amend Low Carbon Fuel Standard and Alternative Diesel Fuel regulations
21 February 2018
The California Air Resources Board (CARB) staff has developed a proposal to amend the Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) and Alternative Diesel Fuel (ADF) Regulations to strengthen the LCFS through 2030 in-line with the Senate Bill (SB) 32 goals.
This rulemaking proposal includes provisions that may impact the market for LCFS credits. To ensure that all market participants and other interested stakeholders have access to the content of this regulatory proposal at the same time, staff has posted an unofficial version of the Draft Proposed Regulation Order and a portion of the Draft ISOR (without Appendices).
This posting is intended to provide simultaneous access to staff’s proposal as it is submitted to the Office of Administrative Law (OAL). This posting does not initiate the formal public comment period. The official version that will be open for public comment and Board consideration will be the version posted on 6 March 2018 following OAL review. The official version may include modifications from the unofficial draft.
