Electrify America expanding EV charging network with new interoperability agreements

Electrify America has reached network interoperability agreements with EV Connect, Greenlots and SemaConnect.

The deal will increase the range confidence of EV drivers, and will feature an interconnected network of approximately 12,500 chargers, located at shopping centers, gas stations, convenience stores, workplaces, and multi-family dwellings, as of 30 June 2019.

EV customers are the big winners with these network interoperability agreements. Drivers will now be able to roam between charging networks without the need for additional cards or accounts. It will be seamless for EV owners that you can charge when you need one – comparable to getting cash at an ATM machine even when it’s not your bank.
