Walmart.com Black Friday Special for Accell’s AxFAST L2 portable electric vehicle charger

Walmart.com will be offering a special Black Friday promotion for Accell’s premier electric vehicle charger (EVSE), the AxFAST Portable Electric Vehicle Charger Level 2.  Regularly priced at $369.99, the AxFAST will be available at Walmart.com for $279.99 from 10-30 November and 10-30 December 2018.

Supporting the SAE J1772 standard, Accell’s AxFAST product works with Nissan LEAF, Toyota Prius Prime, BMW i3, FIAT 500e, Chevrolet Volt and Bolt EV, as well as Tesla (with an additional adapter).  It can be used with a 120/240V power source.  Out of the box, users can plug it into the standard grounded NEMA 5-15 (120V) or a NEMA 6-20 (240V) outlet.  The charger can be mounted to a wall via the mounting bracket on the back of the unit and removed from the wall for portability.

The charging gun follows the standard for USA electric vehicles and is built with premium materials for ultra-toughness and a waterproof rating of IP55 making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation.  Accell’s EVSE charges at a range from 90V to 135V for Level 1 and 190V to 250V for Level 2. Accell’s AxFAST Portable EVSE Level 2 Charger features the following:

  • 24.6 ft cable - the longest allowed for safe charging by Underwriters Laboratories (UL)

  • 120/240V capable out of the box - NEMA 6-20 and NEMA 5-15

  • Portable, weighing only eight lbs. and comes with a carry case

  • Easy to read lighted front panel that automatically detects charging voltage and prevents under and over voltage operations

  • Grounded AC plug and dead band restriction, providing safety protection and built to limit Radio Frequency Interference (RFI)

  • US-based Accell support and two-year manufactures limited warranty

Basically a 220v dryer outlet.
