GM Financial and SAIC form leasing joint venture in China; focus on new energy vehicles

GM Financial (GMF), a subsidiary of General Motors, and SAIC have established SAIC-GMF Leasing Co., Ltd.

The Shanghai-based joint venture will offer customers in China financial leasing services including Buick, Cadillac and Chevrolet models produced by SAIC-GM, with a focus on new energy vehicles.

It will aim to capitalize on downstream growth opportunities in automotive financing services in China while providing better, safer and more sustainable mobility solutions to customers.
