TomTom and Elektrobit reveal HD map horizon for automated driving

TomTom (TOM2) and Elektrobit (EB), a global supplier of embedded and connected software products for the automotive industry, released a High Definition (HD) map horizon for automated driving.

An electronic horizon represents the road network and map attributes ahead of a vehicle. An HD map horizon helps vehicles build a highly accurate virtual picture of the road ahead, enhancing driver safety and comfort.
