Argonne releases GREET 2019

The Argonne National Laboratory’s Systems Assessment Center announced the 2019 release of the suite of GREET models and associated documentation.
The GREET (Greenhouse gases, Regulated Emissions, and Energy use in Transportation) model is a life-cycle analysis (LCA) tool, structured to examine the energy and environmental effects of a wide variety of transportation fuels and vehicle technologies systematically in major transportation sectors (i.e., road, air, marine, and rail).
Argonne has expanded and updated the model in various sectors in GREET 2019. Major changes are in the areas of Biofuels and Bioproducts; Petroleum Production Pathways; Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Vehicles; and Electricity and Electric Vehicles.
