Hyundai’s highly successful Tucson SUV recently passed the major milestone of one million unit sales in the US market. The Tucson nameplate entered the US market in 2004 and has spawned two all-new model generations since its introduction, in 2010 and 2016.

Tucson is the strongest selling SUV model in Hundai’s lineup, with April retail sales up 7% year-over-year. As of April 2020, more than two-thirds of all Hyundais sold were SUVs.
