KAMAZ presents first Russian articulated electric bus

Russian-based vehicle manufacturer KAMAZ has presented the first Russian articulated bus, the KAMAZ-6292. The bus was prepared for test operation at the NEFAZ factory, a subsidiary of KAMAZ. It accommodates 135 passengers and has 48 seats.
The electric articluated bus is expected to go into serial production by the end of this year, and will enter service on the busiest routes.
The innovative articulated electric bus, like its predecessors, has a high performance and recharges energy with ultra-fast charging stations—this helps to reduce the amount of harmful emissions in the atmosphere. For Moscow, the availability of modern, spacious and economically viable transport is the most important condition for improving the environmental situation.
