Qualcomm Technologies announced that the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ (earlier post) will leverage Snapdragon automotive solutions to deliver the latest in capabilities to Cadillac customers.

Powered by the Snapdragon Digital Chassis Solution, the Escalade IQ will be equipped to provide best-in-class in-vehicle experiences for drivers and passengers that have higher levels of safety, and are power-efficient and continuously upgradeable due to the latest generation of Snapdragon Cockpit and Snapdragon Auto Connectivity Platforms, and Snapdragon Ride Platforms for hands-free driving technology.

The technology collaboration is an extension of the long-term relationship between Cadillac and Qualcomm Technologies. Escalade IQ customer deliveries are expected to begin in late 2024.

Snapdragon Digital Chassis solutions that are featured in the Cadillac Escalade IQ include:

• Next Generation Snapdragon Cockpit Platform: The next generation Snapdragon Cockpit Platform powers the Escalade IQ’s curved pillar-to-pillar 55-inch total diagonal LED display.

• Snapdragon Auto 5G Modem-RF platform: The Snapdragon Auto 5G Modem-RF provides ultra-fast connectivity, quick network response times and reliability needed to enhance safety, personalization, entertainment and productivity features in vehicles.

• Snapdragon Ride Platform: One of the automotive industry’s most advanced, scalable and customizable automated driving system-on-chip (SoC) family, the Snapdragon Ride Platform is designed to deliver key low-latency control functions and high-performance and power efficient AI compute for camera and radar processing.
