Boutique Porsche 911 EV conversion company Sacrilege Motors partners with UK’s Fellten

Sacrilege Motors, a bespoke performance, restoration and electric-conversion studio, is partnering with UK-based powertrain supplier Fellten, a designer and manufacturer of systems used in converting classic cars into electric vehicles. Fellten has engineered systems for a variety of classic brands and models, starting with Porsche 911s, Classic Minis, and Land Rover Series and Defenders.

Fellten’s electric powertrains have been recognized for their performance and reliability by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), which have named Fellten a Tier 1 supplier. Fellten is the only EV powertrain supplier approved by BMW for the Classic Mini Recharged project.

Fellten’s Porsche 911 system, for 964 & G-Body. 370 kW Tesla motor, single-speed gearbox with 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. 63 kWh of battery for 200-mile range. CCS fast recharging. Complete bolt-in—no chassis modifications.

Sacrilege Motors is also working with Fellten on electric powertrain development projects that will be exclusive to Sacrilege Motors.

For its first commission, Sacrilege Motors has restored, performance-tuned and EV-converted a Porsche 911 America Roadster, a US version of the Carrera 2 Cabriolet Turbo-look, and one of 250 built. Named BLACKBIRD by its owner in honor of the supersonic SR-71 Blackbird aircraft, the commission will debut during Monterey Car Week, on the Concept Lawn at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on 20 August 2023.
