The US Department of Energy (DOE) selected 16 projects for funding totaling $32.5 million to advance technology integration in areas critical to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions in the transportation sector.

Spanning nine states and Washington, DC, the selected projects will focus on expanding electric vehicle (EV) deployment and supporting EV charging infrastructure by reducing installation costs, educating consumers, and implementing regional deployment.

The 16 projects are in four areas of interest (AOI 11 - AOI 14) in the Vehicle Technology Office’s FY 2023 Program Wide FOA (DE-FOA-0002893) (earlier post).
