At the 18th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Auto China 2024), set to start 25 April, Nissan will unveil several new energy concept models designed for the China market. The show will also see the China debut of the all-electric Nissan Hyper Force concept and Formula E Gen3 race car.

Nissan plans to showcase a full electrified lineup, collaborations with leading Chinese companies in the field of intelligence, and an innovative booth design employing 3D technology to demonstrate how Nissan vehicles will integrate into future lifestyles.

On display for the first time in China is the Nissan Hyper Force, a next-generation EV sports concept. The model is designed to deliver the ultimate driving experience supported by a suite of innovative technologies, such as all-solid-state battery and advanced e-4ORCE all-wheel control, while also maintaining environment and safety levels.

The Nissan Formula E Gen3 race car, to be showcased at the Nissan booth, represents the company’s Formula E team in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. Through the all-electric championship series, Nissan showcases its global EV expertise from the road to the track and brings the excitement and fun of zero-emission electric vehicles to a global audience.

The race car has contributed to the team’s four consecutive podium finishes in the current 10kth season.

Nissan, marking its 90th anniversary, recently announced its new global business plan, The Arc. (Earlier post.) The plan is positioned as a bridge to Nissan Ambition 2030, the company’s long-term vision, and illustrates Nissan’s continuous progression and ability to navigate changing market conditions.

China is a major market for Nissan under the plan and is also a leading market in future mobility development. Upholding the commitment of “In China, for China, from China to global,” Nissan plans to meet evolving consumer needs, and drive electrification and intelligent technologies advancements, leveraging its extensive expertise in new energy and collaborative efforts with local technology leaders.
