Uber offering London drivers package of up to £22,750 to switch to EVs

Uber is offering its drivers in London a three-component ‘PowerUp Package’ worth up to £22,750 to switch to EVs. Uber has committed that all Uber vehicles in London will be fully electric by the end of 2025. 25% of the miles driven by Uber drivers in London are now fully electric.

The first element is a £5,000 grants to support making the switch to an electric vehicle. Drivers can spend the grant on buying an EV or making weekly payments for rental or rent-to-buy agreements.

The second element is up to £13,000 off Kia Niro EV models and up to £17,000 off the Kia EV6. The third element is up to £750 in bp pulse charging credits.
