ZF’s standard TraXon 2—the successor to its TraXon—builds on its automated manual transmission (AMT) updated with in-house designed and manufactured ECU and shift actuators. Equipped with next generation microprocessor, integrated security module and thorough functional software upgrades, TraXon 2 helps to improve fuel efficiency and to reduce CO2 emissions while meeting latest regulatory cyber security requirements.

The current TraXon Hybrid variant features a 120 kW electric motor installed upstream of the automatic transmission system as a drive module.
