Kia America has delivered its highest first-half EV sales yet. Kia America sold more than 5,000 all-electric vehicles (representing an approximate 8% share of June sales) for the third consecutive month and 29,392 total EVs through the first-half (representing a 7.6% share of all sales), resulting 112% growth year-over-year.

The new EV90 sold 1,905 units in June, while the EV6 posted 2,171 units sold, up 49% from June 2023.

Kia also marked the second-best first-half total sales. The brand’s best-selling models through the first half of 2024 were the Sportage SUV and Forte sedan. Four Kia models—Carnival (+18%), Forte (+13%), Sportage (+11%) and Seltos (+1%)—set new first-half sales records.
