Kia has launched the Tasman X-Pro pickup, with body-on-frame construction, a switchable all-wheel drive (AWD) system, rear electronic locking differential (e-LD), a suite of off-road assistance systems and 252mm (9.9 inches) of ground clearance.

Powered by a 281 PS 2.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission (badged 2.5T-GDi 8AT 4WD), the Tasman features the Off-Road Page—accessible via the central 12.3-inch panoramic touchscreen—to display critical data such as pitch/roll angle, tire pressure and oil temperature in real time.

The Tasman offers 800 mm (31.5 inches) fording depth and supports approach and departure angles up to 32.2° and 26.2° degrees. The rear electronic locking differential (e-LD) ensures both rear wheels turn in unison, delivering maximum traction even when individual wheels leave the ground.
